Since IQOS unveiled the monolithic tobacco Lil SOLID heating system in September 2020, it has been approximately a year. A newer, more pumped-up version of little SOLID 2.0 was launched by the company less than a year later, in July 2021, after the developers had made the decision to keep on.
Heated Products’ Lil Solid 2.0 is an easy-to-use all-in-one device with 25 sessions on a single full charge and a 5-minute increase in the length of each session. South Korean designers and manufacturers have come up with a device that is compatible with various sticks for IQOS and HEETs.

There is no fire or ash produced while using Lil Solid 2.0 because the tobacco warms up rather than burns. As a result, there is no chance of burning your clothing or furnishings, and there is also little chance that falling ash will harm the car’s carpet or upholstery.
Additionally, Lil Solid 2.0 emits tobacco vapour (aerosol), eliminating the odour of cigarette smoking.
One of the key characteristics of the new Lil is its powerful battery, which enables you to use up to 25 sticks on a single charge. And this is a lot more than in any other tobacco heating system.
3 sticks can now be used consecutively. The device will enter an automatic cooling mode after the third, which will continue for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Three sticks in a row can be used once more when the cooling process is finished.
The stick must be rotated more than three times in one direction before being removed from service. By doing this, tobacco residue won’t enter the chamber.
Everything about the sticks themselves does not change. Sticks from the two brands HEETS and FIIT are compatible with the gadget. There are 17 flavours available, including the high-end HEETS dimensions line.
The fact that the device’s heating technique has altered in the latest generation is another intriguing characteristic. In the new version, induction heating technology with a needle was employed in place of the resistive heating technology that was used in the original Little Solid to heat tobacco in sticks.
This indicates that the heating needle contains a metal coil that, when exposed to current, produces an electromagnetic field. In turn, the electromagnetic waves heat the needle’s surface.

The only button on the device has an LED indication that shows the battery level.
- Indicator flashes blue: The battery has been charged between 60 and 100 percent
- Cold blue: 30–60% charge remaining
- Orange: Battery life is less than 30%.
